Was it tough giving up singles to focus solely on doubles at a relatively young age especially when you were on the brink of the top 500 and had already experienced winning a title?

When tennis became a job I had to be realistic with my goals and ambitions.
My doubles ranking was much higher than my singles and it was a decision based on making money. I never believed I could make it into the worlds top 200 in singles, so I decided to focus on doubles.
